On December 30, 2025 (corresponding to the 11th day of the 11th lunar month, Year of the At Ty), a large-scale ceremony praying for national peace and prosperity was held on the summit of Ba Den Mountain, Tay Ninh, with the participation of over 500 venerable monks and nuns, praying for national peace and prosperity, and for all beings to be at peace.

Organized close to the last day of 2025, the Grand Ceremony for National Peace and People's Well-being on the summit of Ba Den Mountain is a moment for Buddhists and the public to offer sincere prayers, entrusting wishes for a new year of favorable weather, a prosperous country, and warm, peaceful lives for the people.

Within the framework of the Grand Ceremony, solemn rituals were performed, including incense offering and prayer, a ceremony for national peace and prosperity – favorable weather, and a lantern floating ceremony to offer wishes before the Statue of the Bodhisattva of Compassion of Tay Bo Da Son on Ba Den Mountain.

Notably, the ritual of releasing doves to pray for peace was an extremely beautiful moment, leaving a deep impression on the grand ceremony. Doves are a universal symbol of peace, of the aspiration to live together in understanding and love, released into the serene sky atop the sacred Ba Den mountain - the Noc nha Nam Bo, carrying the common wishes of the entire congregation: May Vietnam be peaceful, independent, and prosperous; May the people live in peace and prosperity, and society be stable and orderly; May the world be peaceful, and nations live together in respect and cooperation.

The Grand Ceremony for National Peace and Prosperity at Black Lady Mountain is considered a profoundly sacred spiritual and cultural event. In recent times, our country has endured a series of historic storms and floods, causing immense losses. Many families have not yet recovered from the natural disasters, facing significant material and spiritual devastation. In this context, more than ever, we deeply appreciate the value of peace and a tranquil life that every citizen desires.

Therefore, the Grand Ceremony for National Peace and Prosperity at the summit of Black Lady Mountain is not only a solemn moment for Buddhists and the people to offer devout prayers, entrusting wishes for a new year of favorable weather, national peace and prosperity, and tranquility for all beings, but also an opportunity to remember compassion, sharing, and responsibility towards the community, homeland, and country.

The event became even more sacred when held on the summit of Ba Den Mountain – a sacred mountain that has deeply entered the consciousness and beliefs of the Southern people with the sacred legend of Linh Son Thanh Mau. This is also the only spiritual destination in Vietnam that currently gathers particularly meaningful spiritual creations, embodying the three Buddhas from the Past, Present, and Future, including: The statue of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva Tay Bo Da Son embodying the Present , the future Buddha (Buddha of the future) is Maitreya, and the Buddha embodying the past is Kauanahammuni . Among them, the statue of Kauanahammuni was just enshrined on the afternoon of December 29, 2025 and will welcome visitors for worship on the very first day of the new year 2026.

The presence of the sacred bodies of the 3 Buddhas: The statue of Tay Bo Da Son Bodhisattva, symbol of compassion, the statue of Maitreya Bodhisattva, symbolizing tolerance and letting go, the statue of Buddha Kauanahammuni, symbolizing peace and auspiciousness, also makes the destination Ba Den Mountain now considered a fulfilling journey for all Buddhist followers to visit.

Held during the transition between the old year and the new year, the Great Ceremony for National Peace and People's Well-being at Ba Den Mountain is a significant event of great importance in spreading good values of compassion, harmony, righteousness, and service to humanity. The event also reaffirms that Ba Den Mountain is not just a spiritual cultural destination, but also a place where Buddhists and people place their wishes for peace and tranquility, rich in humanistic values.
