Halong International Passenger Port is Vietnam's first specialized international tourist passenger port.

The passenger port consists of two areas: the international port for large ships and luxury international yachts, and the domestic port for ships visiting Ha Long Bay and Bai Tu Long Bay. Notably, the 4,500 m2 passenger port terminal, with 3 floors, was designed by "Top 5 leading architects in the world" - Bill Bensley, offering visitors high-quality cultural, culinary, and shopping experiences while waiting to buy tickets to visit the bay.

As Vietnam's first private airport, strategically located in the North, Van Don International Airport is the gateway connecting Quang Ninh with leading destinations domestically and internationally.

Van Don International Airport boasts modern facilities, including a 3.6km long, 45m wide runway capable of handling the world's most advanced aircraft such as the Boeing 787, a parking area with 7 parking positions (3 remote and 4 near), a terminal with a capacity of 2.5 million passengers/year, and a cargo handling area with a capacity of 10,000 tons/year.

This project is a catalyst for growth in Van Don and Quang Ninh, attracting investors and tourists to this heritage region.

Tien Yen - Mong Cai Expressway

As a component of the Van Don - Mong Cai expressway, the Tien Yen - Mong Cai expressway is 63.2km long; inaugurated on September 1, 2022.

The expressway helps reduce travel time from Van Don to Mong Cai to about 50 minutes, instead of 2 hours as before.

The Tien Yen - Mong Cai expressway connects with the two Bach Dang - Ha Long and Ha Long - Van Don expressways to form a 176km-long axis, making Quang Ninh the province with the largest number of expressway kilometers in the country.

Ha Long - Van Don Expressway

Ha Long, Van Don, Quang Ninh

Nearly 60km long, the Ha Long - Van Don expressway is designed for a speed of 100km/h, with 4 lanes for traffic and 2 emergency lanes. This significantly reduces travel time from Ha Long to Van Don, creating a smooth traffic flow from Hanoi to Van Don. Travel time is reduced from 5 hours to approximately 2.5 hours, strengthening connectivity within the Hanoi - Hai Phong - Quang Ninh triangle.
