At exactly 7:15 AM today, the first commercial flight of Sun PhuQuoc Airways (SPA) flight number 9G1203 took off from Hanoi, carrying the first 220 passengers to Phu Quoc on a modern Airbus A321. Followed by flights 9G1969 (Ho Chi Minh City – Phu Quoc) and 9G2969 (Da Nang – Phu Quoc), all heading towards the focal point of the Jade Island - an international-class 'tourist paradise', a new regional aviation hub.
