Following the explosive opening night, the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2025 will continue to electrify the Han River city with its second competition night, taking place on Saturday evening, June 7, 2025, at the stage on the banks of Ngu Hanh Son Mountain – Han River, considered the heart of the festival and an unmissable rendezvous for tens of thousands of spectators each fireworks season.

The main theme of the second competition night is "Creative Art" – an inspiring declaration of a spirit of breakthrough, creativity, daring to think, and daring to do to create artistic experiences beyond the norm. Against the backdrop of Da Nang's sky, light, music, and technology will blend into a multi-dimensional stage – where two competing teams from Vietnam and Poland will together ignite aspirations, identity, and boundless imagination.

Not only a fireworks competition night, June 7th will also be a visual and auditory feast with the participation of Tang Duy Tan – a multi-talented artist prominent in modern music. He will collaborate with violinist Trinh Minh Hien, creating a unique performance blending electronic pop and orchestral music. Besides that, young singers like Muoi, Nam Son, Hoang Long, along with two international artists Nath Ottaviano and Lucas Carrillo promise to energize the festival atmosphere, bringing a modern, colorful, and globally connected musical space.

With this theme, the second competition night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2025 is not only a technical competition between two fireworks teams but also a large playground for bold ideas, where creativity truly becomes "art leading the way" for emotion, connection, and experience.

2. The Much-Anticipated Showdown Between Vietnam and Poland

On the Han River stage on the evening of June 7th, the audience will witness a competition between two representatives: Z121 Vina Pyrotech – the Vietnamese fireworks team making its international debut, and Surex Firma Rodzinna – a veteran European name that has won numerous prestigious awards. One is an "unknown" brimming with aspirations to reach the world stage, the other a "familiar face" with a storytelling style using light and music, promising a night of intense emotion and creativity – true to the event's theme.

2.1 Z121 Vina Pyrotech - The Team from Vietnam

Participating in an international competition for the first time, Z121 Vina Pyrotech – Vietnam's second representative at DIFF 2025 – brings high expectations. The Z121 Vina Pyrotech team is established by Hoa Chat 21 Single Member Limited Liability Company, a company that manufactures fireworks for domestic festivals and events, and exports internationally. With over 50 years of experience in firework production, the company's fireworks are used in major firework festivals in Japan and enjoy high prestige in the Japanese market.

In the second night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2025, Z121 is expected to make its own mark with technically sophisticated, refined, and emotional firework displays, portraying the image of a Vietnam striding forward, reaching for regional and global prominence.

2.2 Surex Firma Rodzinna - Team from Poland

If Z121 is a fresh unknown, their opponent – Surex Firma Rodzinna from Poland – is a veteran in the international fireworks scene. Established in 1989 and operating as a family company since 1993, Surex not only produces but also directly performs firework shows combining lasers, music, and stage effects.

Since 1995, Surex has become one of the leading names in Europe, conquering over 50 international firework festivals and winning numerous first prizes in Germany, France, South Korea, China, Portugal, Croatia, and the Czech Republic… At DIFF 2023, the team was honored as the “Most Creative Fireworks Team,” demonstrating their daring, artistic performances that always lead trends.

Returning to DIFF this year, Surex brings the work “Dragon Love” – an Eastern mythological story about the love transcending boundaries between the fire dragon Luna and the water dragon Draco. The performance promises to captivate the audience with skillful firework techniques, combined with storytelling music and European colors, creating a magical experience that captivates all generations.

3. Technology Flourishes in a Multi-Layered Creative Space

Beyond that, DIFF 2025 marks a strong shift in technology application, as it introduces augmented reality (AR) to the tickets for the first time. Viewers can experience digital effects by scanning AR-integrated paper tickets, opening up vibrant images and interactive information before entering the competition night.

Especially, Sky AR technology – one of the most novel and impressive highlights of this year's festival – will transform the Han River sky into a giant virtual stage. With a projection area of up to 600,000m² and a display density of up to 10 million pixels, Sky AR offers an unprecedented visual experience, recreating the cultural and architectural icons of Da Nang through modern graphic effects, blending with fireworks and music. Through the Sun Paradise Land application, audiences can not only book tickets and personalize their itineraries but also explore Da Nang in a smart, interactive, and technologically inspiring way.
