Scheduled to open during the April 30th holiday, Sun World in Sun Urban City, Ha Nam, is Sun Group's first 24-hour water park.
Water park inspired by water puppetry art
Following the large-scale entertainment complexes built in Ba Na Hills (Da Nang), Phu Quoc, Ha Long, and Thanh Hoa..., the Sun World Ha Nam complex (including Sun World water park and Wonder Land indoor park) is being developed ahead of schedule, promising to bring new experiences to the resort town south of the capital.
Not only creating an entertainment "universe" to meet the recreational needs of residents and tourists day and night, here, Sun Group also honors national culture through Water Puppetry - a long-standing art form in Noi Roi village, Ly Nhan, Ha Nam.

"Water puppetry is the embodiment of Northern folk culture, a popular form of entertainment, an indispensable spiritual food during many festivals. Honoring this art form in contemporary entertainment life is our goal when developing the Sun World water park in Ha Nam," a Sun Group representative shared.
Accordingly, the characteristic images, stories, and traditional puppet shows are cleverly incorporated into the games and landscapes at the park by the team of architects. For example, the image of Thuy Dinh - the performance space of water puppetry with the basic structure of a Northern communal house roof combined with flags, fans... surrounded by banyan trees, brick yards, areca trees... the scenery is the characteristic characters of the Boat Race show - is integrated into the wave pool area, creating a modern entertainment complex but still retains strong traditional features.
Besides that, the characteristic features of puppet shows such as the four sacred animals, catching mice and catching ducks, fairy dances... all become the overarching theme of the game areas, lazy river, children's water channels... The characteristic architecture of the stalls at the traditional Northern countryside market will also be recreated at the kiosks, food areas... in the park.

24/7 Operation
The Sun World park complex is one of five large parks within the Sun Urban City resort town, Phu Ly, Ha Nam. This also marks the first time Sun Group has introduced a 24-hour entertainment complex.
Across an area of over 19.4 hectares, Sun Group will develop an outdoor water park and an indoor Wonder Land park featuring a subway station, theater, ice rink, and more. The water park is slated to open on April 30th and operate 24/7 to cater to the recreational needs of residents and tourists.

At Sun World Ha Nam water park, Sun Group will partner with Proslide, a leading entertainment technology company, to deliver cutting-edge experiences blended with rich, authentic Vietnamese cultural elements.
Visitors can experience a wave pool and 15 thrilling rides, including slides simulating a rushing river or parallel speed races. Modern lighting effects create a mystical atmosphere in the park at night, a unique highlight of this project. To achieve this effect, architects have utilized specialized, modern translucent materials with advanced technology.

The investor revealed that the initial phases of Sun World Ha Nam are taking shape. By the end of January 2025, the overall completion of the games will reach approximately 95% for the raw structure, 65% for infrastructure, and 40% for mechanical components. Complex areas 1 and 10 have achieved about 70% completion of mechanical components.
"Everything is ready to welcome visitors during the April 30th holiday this year, before the handover of the first apartments to Sun Urban City residents," a Sun Group representative added.
