Perspective of Phu Quoc International Airport presented at the announcement conference.
Phu Quoc International Airport has a total planned area of approximately 1,050 hectares, with a total investment capital of approximately VND 26,572 billion by 2030, and a vision to 2050 requiring an additional VND 25,791 billion.
At the conference, Mr. Uong Viet Dung, Director of the Vietnam Civil Aviation Authority, stated: “The recently approved plan is an important basis for Kien Giang province to implement synchronous investment projects to modernize the infrastructure of Phu Quoc International Airport. This will not only contribute to the successful organization of APEC 2027 but also promote the development of Phu Quoc City into a leading attractive destination in the region.”
