The Vietnam – UK Football Festival 2025, themed "Legendary Red", will take place in Da Nang from June 26-29, commemorating 52 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries (September 11, 1973 – September 11, 2025). This year's festival features the golden generation of players from the renowned Manchester United Football Club under Sir Alex Ferguson: Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs, Michael Owen, Teddy Sheringham, Wes Brown, and Dwight Yorke. These global football legends will be in Da Nang, participating in a series of exchange and experiential activities at the city's famous destinations along the Han River.

A highlight of the Vietnam – UK Football Festival 2025 is a series of experiential activities within the Sun Group ecosystem in Da Nang. On their first day in the city by the Han River (June 26), the MU legends will participate in a friendly golf match at Ba Na Hills Golf Club and attend the golf awards ceremony at Sun World Ba Na Hills, a leading theme park in Asia.

During their time at Ba Na Hills, the MU legends will explore the craft beer production process and enjoy Sun KraftBeer at the craft brewery atop Ba Na - Ba Na Brew House, enjoy a series of spectacular new shows, and explore the Golden Bridge.

The legends will reminisce with the fans about the glorious years of the "Red Devils" through conversations, autographs, and heartfelt sharing. The most anticipated event within the festival is a friendly football match between the Vietnam All-Star team and the Manchester Reds at Hoa Xuan Stadium with a capacity of nearly 20,000 seats on June 27. Many art performances and audience interactions will also be organized to recreate the vibrant atmosphere of a unique football festival in Vietnam. In addition, the MU legends will attend the 5th fireworks display of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2025, witnessing the competition between the South Korean and Italian teams on the evening of June 28.
