The Ba Den Mountain cable car system, part of the Sun World Ba Den Mountain tourist area, is an ideal choice to significantly reduce travel time from the foot to the top of the mountain, while enjoying the majestic mountain scenery throughout the journey. The system consists of 3 main cable car lines: the Van Son line, the Chua Hang line, and the Tam An line, forming a continuous journey to explore the beauty of Ba Den Mountain completely.
Overview of the 3 Ba Den Mountain Cable Car Lines
- Van Son Cable Car Line (line 1): Starting from Ba Den station at the foot of the mountain to Van Son station on the mountaintop, 1,847 meters long, with 113 cabins, each cabin holding 10 passengers. Travel time is only about 8 minutes, with a transport capacity of up to 4,400 passengers/hour. This is the main line to the top of the mountain with a height difference of 886 meters.
- Chua Hang Cable Car Line (line 2): Connects Ba Den station with Chua Hang station halfway up the mountain, 1,210 meters long, with 78 cabins of 10 people/cabin. Fast travel time of about 5 minutes, mainly serving visitors to visit and worship at Ba Temple.
- Tam An Cable Car Line (line 3): The newly opened cable car line runs from Hoa Dong station to Tam An station on the top of Ba Den Mountain, approximately 1,208 meters long with 76 cabins. This is the cable car line with the most beautiful view and the steepest slope, with an average slope of up to 63.53% (equivalent to 32.43 degrees) and a maximum of up to 104% (45 degrees). Travel time is also about 5 minutes.
