Aiming to become the leading entertainment destination in Northern Vietnam, the Sun World Ha Nam amusement park complex – one of five parks in the Sun Urban City resort metropolis – is entering its final construction phase. Along with the installation of rides, the park’s landscaping is also being completed by the developer, Sun Group. The trees are now lush and green. The park is expected to open to the public during the April 30th, 2025 holiday, promising to be a vibrant, unique, and internationally-class entertainment paradise, a first for Ha Nam.
Visiting the construction site these days, one can’t help but be amazed by the vibrant green of the water, sky, and trees. Hundreds of engineers and workers are diligently working day and night, meticulously attending to the smallest details to ensure optimal quality.
Tran Thanh Tung, Construction Manager of the Sun World Ha Nam project, said: “The first two complex rides are complete. Meanwhile, the wave pool and lazy river are 90% complete structurally and 55% mechanically. All engineers and workers are striving with the highest sense of responsibility.”
After only 4 months of development, many important aspects of Sun World Ha Nam have taken shape, demonstrating the developer’s strong commitment and determination – that is, when residents receive their homes, the public amenities and entertainment facilities will also operate in sync. The colorful water slides are ready to provide exciting experiences for residents and tourists next summer.
The indoor playground, Wonder Land, is also beginning its structural work. This will open up a magical world of play for children and families. With the current progress, Sun World Ha Nam is steadily achieving important milestones, getting closer to its opening day.
Sun World Ha Nam – a key highlight of the Sun Urban City Phu Ly resort metropolis in Ha Nam – is located just a 45-minute drive from Hanoi. The 420-hectare project has an 18% construction density and dedicates 200 hectares to green spaces and water features, designed by the developer to become a “suburban resort city with 1001 amenities south of Hanoi”. This is an ideal living space, meeting the recreational, entertainment, and relaxation needs during holidays, weekends, or simply a “change of scenery” for Northern Vietnamese residents to recharge.
Along with the Sun World park, contractors are also focusing on constructing high-rise apartment buildings in Sun Urban City. Eight high-rise buildings, with one basement level and nine above-ground floors, are intelligently designed to optimize space.
The team of engineers and workers are closely monitoring progress and quality, maintaining overtime work until 10 PM daily. The first high-rise building has achieved over 90% of its work and is preparing for its topping-out ceremony on December 28th.
The 1.5km-long, 150m-wide festival boulevard from Dien Bien Phu Street to Le Cong Thanh Street is approximately 85% complete. Green landscaping is being simultaneously completed, while the technical aspects of the water musical stage are nearing completion.
The Ngu Vo Cafe has completed its structural work. This is one of the landscape projects showcasing the character of Ha Nam, located on the central boulevard of the Sun Urban City project. Upon completion and operation, it will be an unmissable stop on a journey to explore the suburban resort metropolis south of Hanoi.
Not only the people of Ha Nam witness the transformation of Phu Ly, many customers buying houses at Sun Urban City are also eagerly awaiting the topping-off ceremony of the first high-rise building on December 28.
Sun Urban City will contribute to upgrading the urban appearance of Phu Ly and attracting tourists to Ha Nam in the coming years.
