To Ba Den Mountain to offer thanks, pray for luck and health 

For the people of Southern Vietnam, Linh Son Thanh Mau (Ba Den) is the main deity of the highest mountain in Southern Vietnam, known for its sacredness. At the end of the year, people come to Ba Mountain to offer thanks, pray for luck, health, and wealth according to the concept of "borrowing and repaying". 

Linh Son Tien Thach Tu and Dien Ba, the main worship place of Ba Den, have existed for 300 years, preserving many legends and are a destination for thousands of Buddhists and tourists. In addition to offering thanks at the temple, the top of Ba Den Mountain is also a place to perform sacred rituals before the statue of Buddha Ba Tay Bo Da Son.

Not only offering thanks at Ba Chua Temple, the top of Ba Den Mountain is also a place for people and tourists to perform sacred rituals to offer thanks before the majestic statue of Buddha Ba Tay Bo Da Son, symbolizing compassion and universal salvation, and the statue of Bodhisattva Di Lac, a symbol of joy and happiness.

Weekly Saturday Evening Lantern Offering Ceremony on Ba Den Mountain.

During this time, many sacred ceremonies are held on the top of Ba Den Mountain, in which the lantern offering ceremony takes place on Saturday evenings is a ceremony that everyone does not want to miss. Amidst the magical atmosphere of the sacred mountain peak, the lanterns written by tourists with words of gratitude and wishes will be released into the water basin at the foot of the statue of the Bodhisattva of Tay Bo Da Son, creating a sparkling space like a starry night on the roof of the Southern region.

The lantern offering ceremony on Ba Den Mountain always attracts a large number of tourists.

For tourists who do not have the opportunity to go to the top of the mountain on Saturdays, lanterns have been prepared at the square at the foot of the statue of the Bodhisattva of Tay Bo Da Son on other days of the week. People and tourists can write their prayers on the lanterns, which will then be offered and fulfilled by Sun World Ba Den Mountain in the thanksgiving ceremony every Saturday evening.

Peaceful Buddhist Atmosphere on Ba Den Mountain

Also during the thanksgiving season, visitors can slow down in the peaceful Buddhist atmosphere with vibrant blooming flower carpets, where majestic spiritual works on the mountaintop, known as the “first heavenly mountain,” appear in the clouds.

For hundreds of years, at the turn of the old and new year, Ba Den Mountain has become a place for people to express the fine traditions of the Vietnamese people and seek true happiness.

Right after the Thanksgiving season, the people of Southern Vietnam will enter the Ba Den Mountain Spring Festival, lasting throughout the month of Gieng, a time when thousands of wishes are offered, and dreams of a new spring filled with joy are entrusted to the legendary sacred peak.
