After transforming the Lighthouse (Ngon Hai Dang) into a unique 3D Mapping stage amidst heritage, VUI-Fest Ha Long continues to bring visitors a new night experience with the art show “Prosperous Port” (Thuong Cang Phon Hoa). Combining modern performance technology, cultural symbols, and artistic fireworks, the program opens a journey to explore the historical and cultural layers, and the aspiration to sail out of the Hạ Long (Ha Long) land.

From a bayfront entertainment rendezvous to a space for storytelling through art

As the sun sets behind the limestone mountains on Ha Long Bay, VUI-Fest Ha Long begins its most vibrant time of day. The night entertainment complex, which opened on April 25th, is located at Sun Porto Town, Sun Elite City (Lighthouse Area - Ky Quan Street), Bai Chay. Lit food stalls, street art activities unfolding one after another, and streams of tourists leisurely strolling through the seaside festival space have become familiar sights at this night entertainment complex.

VUI-Fest Ha Long Night Market is the trending hot spot in Ha Long

More than just a night market or a pedestrian street, VUI-Fest Ha Long is gradually shaping a diverse experience ecosystem, where visitors can spend an entire evening exploring, having fun, and enjoying the different colors of the coastal city.

In that journey, art becomes one of the important pieces. Organized daily from 9 PM at the Lighthouse area of Sun Bavaria Ha Long restaurant, the newly launched show “Thương cảng phồn hoa” (Prosperous Trading Port) is a combination of light, music, performance technology, artistic fireworks, and culturally rich symbols of the heritage land. Not only providing an entertainment experience, the show also opens a journey to explore Ha Long through a different lens – where each lighting effect contributes to telling a story about the past, present, and future.

“Long Van Khanh Hoi” – when heritage legends emerge from light

The first chapter of “Thương cảng phồn hoa” opens with the 3D Mapping performance “Long Van Khanh Hoi” – a work that has quickly become a new highlight in the night experience in Ha Long.

Instead of traditional stages, the program chooses the Lighthouse itself as the performance backdrop. This characteristic architectural structure by the bay becomes a giant canvas for light and technology to tell stories about the heritage land.

As the first rays of light appear, the space seems to be completely transformed. Layers of images continuously move on the surface of the structure, creating vivid visual effects and taking viewers into the world of legends, nature, and history.

Familiar symbols of Ha Long successively appear through the language of light: images of sacred dragons, the sea, clouds, sky, and majestic limestone mountains have created the unique appearance of the natural wonder of the world. 3D Mapping technology helps these images become more realistic, profound, and emotionally rich.

More than just a technical performance, "Long Van Khanh Hoi" is also a way for cultural values to be accessed in the language of the new era. Audiences not only admire but also feel immersed in the flow of the story, where legend and reality coexist in an open artistic space.

Against the night sky by the bay, light becomes the connecting material between the past and the present, allowing every tourist to perceive the beauty of Ha Long with more senses.

"Port Memories" – the echo of a land once open to the world

If the first chapter evokes the legends of the heritage land, then "Port Memories" leads viewers back to a special period in the development history of the Northeast region.

In the thousands of years of national history, Van Don was once one of the earliest international trading ports of Vietnam. This was where ships from many countries docked, bringing goods, culture, and exchanges that transcended geographical boundaries.

Inspired by that memory, the program recreates the image of a prosperous trading port using modern stage language. The movements of light, music, and spatial effects create a picture of a land that was once bustling with trade and full of life.

The highlight of this chapter is the image of the red sail. Appearing prominently in the performance space, the sail serves as a reminder of the sea voyages that contributed to the prosperity of the coastal land.

Hundreds of years ago, red sails appeared on Ha Long Bay as symbols of bustling trading fleets, bringing goods, culture, and prosperity to the Van Don trading port. Against the backdrop of the blue sea and majestic rocky mountains, the red color of the sails not only marked a prosperous era but also symbolized the aspiration to sail out, the spirit of exploration, and connection with the world.

The performance space therefore not only tells the story of a trading port in the past but also reflects the spirit of Ha Long today – a destination that is continuously expanding its connections with the world, further asserting its position on the regional and international tourism map.

"Toa sang Vinh Ky Quan" (Shining the Wonder Bay) – A Symphony of Light in the Ha Long Sky

After historical and cultural insights, the emotional journey of "Thương cảng phồn hoa" (Prosperous Trading Port) reaches its climax with the final chapter titled "Toa sang Vinh Ky Quan" (Shining the Wonder Bay), featuring thousands of fireworks and over 50 multi-layered effects launched into the sky, weaving giant light paintings against the night sky of Bai Chay.

In the moment the fireworks simultaneously burst into the night sky, the entire area along the bay was covered in a brilliant layer of light. Multi-layered bursts of fireworks continuously bloomed, reflecting onto the water's surface, creating the characteristic shimmering picture of a Ha Long night.

The nightly artistic fireworks display is the entertainment highlight in Ha Long.

Each fireworks display appears like a punctuation mark to the artistic journey just experienced. After the stories of legend and the trading port, the night sky becomes a canvas for images of Ha Long today – dynamic, modern, and always looking forward.

What sets this experience apart is that the fireworks are integrated into a complete narrative. Audiences not only enjoy spectacular moments but also feel the connection between the preceding performances.

As the last lights fade into the night, the festive atmosphere continues with DJ sets and vibrant music. The music, lights, and the bustling crowd make the Lighthouse area one of the most emotionally charged spots of VUI-Fest Ha Long every evening.

The "Prosperous Trading Port" Festival by the Heritage Bay with Music and Lights

Taking place daily at 9 PM in the Lighthouse area of Sun Bavaria Ha Long restaurant, "Prosperous Trading Port" offers an artistic journey comprising three acts: "Dragon Clouds Meeting", "Trading Port Memories", and "Shining Wonder Bay".

For 50,000 VND, visitors have the opportunity to experience a space combining 3D Mapping technology, light shows, red sail symbols, artistic fireworks, and lively music all in one night.

Amidst the seascape of Ha Long Bay, where historical values meet modern technology and performing arts, “Prosperous Trading Port” is not just a new show but also an invitation for every tourist to explore the heritage land in a different way – more vivid, more emotional, and more memorable.

Each night, as the lights illuminate the bay's shore, the story of the sea, of the old trading port, and of Ha Long's aspiration to venture out to sea continues to be told, awaiting new audiences to embark on their own journey.
