At 7:30 PM on September 25, the night of the Mid-Autumn full moon, the route stretching from Ky Quan Coastal Road and Ha Long Street to the VUI-Fest Ha Long area at Sun Elite City in Bai Chay Ward will be transformed into a spectacular open-air stage filled with lights, music and giant lantern installations.

This marks the second consecutive year that Sun Group has organized a large-scale Mid-Autumn lantern parade in Quang Ninh, bringing the familiar symbols of the full-moon festival to the streets in a fresh and vibrant way. Giant lantern vehicles will be accompanied by dragon and lion dances, artistic performances, a traditional Mid-Autumn feast and fireworks, creating a spectacular celebration along the shores of Ha Long Bay.

Starting from Ky Quan Coastal Road, the parade will travel along Ha Long Street, pass through the Bai Chay roundabout and return to the coastal road. Along the route, a series of giant installations inspired by the Mid-Autumn Festival and Vietnamese folk culture will make their appearance. Alongside familiar symbols such as carp, phoenixes, lions, lotus flowers and turtles, this year's celebration will feature two special additions: the Jade Rabbit and Saint Giong.
The installations will be mounted on decorated buggies and trucks, forming a spectacular procession of colorful lanterns through the coastal city under the full moon.

After making its way through the streets, the parade will gather at the Lighthouse area, where the festivities will continue with a traditional Mid-Autumn feast, one of the most beloved customs of the full-moon festival.
The evening will culminate in a spectacular artistic fireworks display expected to last approximately 10 minutes. A dazzling array of high-altitude fireworks in vibrant colors will illuminate the sky over Bai Chay, creating a magical scene beneath the Mid-Autumn full moon.
