On May 20, 2025, the Prime Minister approved the investment plan and also approved the investor for the Sun PhuQuoc Airways (SPA) project, which is Phu Quoc Sun Airlines Company Limited (belonging to Sun Group).
This is not only a legal step forward for a new airline but also a new milestone in the development journey of aviation and tourism in Vietnam. SPA is defined as a commercial airline combined with charter, aiming to bring passengers a true vacation, right from the moment they step onto the plane.
